Adult Groups 1 - 9:00 am COUPLES CAFE - Gathering for young married or engaged couples. Meet in room W104. THE PRESENT FUTURE - Six Tough Questions for the CHURCH. Do you have questions on the challenges facing the church in America? Or more specifically the challenges facing us at CrossRoads? Do you wonder what the terms “emergent” or “post modern” really mean? In this DVD Series, Reggie McNeal identifies the six most important realities that churches must address. Things like recapturing the spirit of Christianity and replacing "church growth" with a wider vision of kingdom growth, developing disciples instead of church members; fostering the rise of a new apostolic leadership, focusing on spiritual formation rather than church programs, and shifting from prediction and planning to preparation for the challenges of an uncertain world. The Teaching Team will take turns facilitating a discussion on these topics. The sessions will be held Sundays through May in the Youth Gym at 9:00 am. Mission 10/10 to Arkansas Mission trip to Arkansas from June 7-14. We want to make this a summer that you'll remember. We are very excited about bringing a group of teens to minister in the inner city of N. Little Rock. Prayer Focus The state of Arizona has called churches to prayer. Churches of all denominations have signed up to pray for one week on their campus throughout the year. CrossRoads has been designated to pray 24-7 the week of June 13 - 20th. God is calling His church to intimacy through day and night worship in prayer. In preparation for our week of prayer, there will be a training session on Saturday, May 3rd in the Ministry Center hosted by "Lite the Fire" from 9am - 4pm. The training session will cover the history of day and night prayer, dismantle the myths, address how to mobilize an army of prayer warriors and keep the prayer fires burning as well as answer questions.
