    • WEDNESDAY NIGHT PRAYER MEETING -
6:30 pm in the Prayer Room.
Pastor Dave is currently teaching from Richard Foster's Book, "Prayer: finding the Heart's True Home." We all come with a variety of experiences, expectations, and motives to prayer. Thankfully God is big enough to receive us all with our mixture. We are gathering to pray and to focus together on agreeing that God's Kingdom would come and His will be done on earth as in heaven. In our time together we will take a few moments to teach some things about the life of prayer, not teaching us how to acquire things, but helping us discover God through prayer. In getting to know Him in prayer, our highest calling is to align our hearts with His purposes. In that way we become more like Him, which is the heart cry of the true disciple: "Lord, teach us to pray."

After a short time of teaching, we spend the majority of time praying. We want to make this time less about personal requests, and more a time of praise and thanksgiving, listening to the Holy Spirit, and corporate intercession for our church, families, and our nation during these critical days. At the end of our corporate time, personal ministry time is available one-on-one with others to pray over personal requests, hurts, and needs.

    • SMALL GROUPS
One of the key life-on-life functions of small groups is prayer. In prayer we align with God’s heart, bear each other’s burdens, and intercede for our world. Small groups expand prayer!

The Prayer Room was designed to highlight and focus the centrality of the life of prayer at CrossRoads and throughout the East Valley. The best way to get acquainted with any space is to use it! The room has been designed and equipped for focused "agreement prayer." There are "stations of prayer" to remind us of things for which to pray.

    • LOCATION
In the southeast corner of the worship center. It can also be accessed from the south parking lot near the handicap parking.

    • HOURS
The prayer room is open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. For security purposes, those wanting to use the prayer room must come to the church office for access to the prayer room.

    • WHY SHOULD I COME TO THE PRAYER ROOM

    • Enhance the focus of your personal prayer time.

    • Receive prayer before or after each service by bringing your burdens, and have loving people available to pray and bear them with you

    • Find a sacred space in a busy world for silence and contemplation

    • Receive anointing for healing

    • Receive the Lord's Supper with others

    • Write, draw, and cast your cares on Christ
    • PRAYER WALKERS are people who commit to walk (or bike) their neighborhood up to several times per week (depending on your exercise practice) while intentionally praying for families, homes, and businesses in their area.

Prayer walkers pray for blessing and for discernment as they walk and pray. They seek alignment with the Spirit that "the Kingdom of God would come, and His will done" in their neighborhood - through them. Walkers rely on the Holy Spirit to give them insight to know how and what to pray. Their eyes are for the harvest all around them.

    • SIGN UP FOR PRAYER WALKING
Email us at prayer@crossroadsnazarene.org to sign up for Prayer Walking.  Give us your name and neighborhood information including major cross streets.  We will add a pin to the Map in the Prayer Room that shows all of the neighborhoods that are being Prayer Walked.

    • AS YOU WALK:

    • Pray God's promises over families and all neighbors

    • Pray for loving and God-honoring marriages and obedient children. Pray wisdom for parents

    • Praise God for your area and everyone that lives there and that His desire for their salvation would be fulfilled

    • Proclaim Jesus, Lord over your neighbors and a recognition of His provision for them

    • Pray for Truth to go forth and blindness to recede. Pray for the Gospel to be proclaimed and an opportunity to connect with others

    • Pray for peace, justice, and righteousness for all the people

    • Pray for all believers of “life giving churches” in your neighborhood to be One in Christ

    • Pray for children to be protected and kept safe

    • Pray for God’s blessing that people would prosper in ways consistent with the Kingdom

    • AS YOU DRIVE remember to pray for the Kingdom to manifest and righteousness to come in:

    • Bars and places known by law enforcement to be places where prostitution or drugs are destroying lives and families

    • Mormon churches, mosques, and other religious houses of worship where Jesus is not proclaimed as Savior and Lord. Pray for revelation of the Truth

    • Massage Parlors and Strip Clubs, where addictions are being fed and families destroyed
