NOV 16: ANGEL TREE
Angel Tree is a ministry of Prison Ministry. We have the opportunity to purchase and deliver gifts to the children of prisoners. This is a wonderful way to show love to the child as well as the parents. Click here for more details.
NOV 30:FAMILY PROMISE
CrossRoads Nazarene Church partners with Family Promise to help temporarily homeless children and their families. We like to make the stay at CrossRoads memorable and fun for these families, as well as providing a safe place to stay and well-balanced meals. We will be hosting familes the week of December 14-21, 2008. Click here for more details on how you can get involved.
DEC 7: GALVESTON COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP
Over the last year, CrossRoads has developed a relationship with families in the Galveston Elementary School area. We were able to purchase and deliver Christmas gifts to the families in this area last year. We are excited about the opportunity to impact our immediate community once again this year by providing gifts and love to these families in our area.
DEC 14: BABIES IN THE DUMP
CrossRoads has partnered with We Are Family for the past 6 years. We Are Family makes an annual trip to Nogales, Mexico, every Christmas to deliver flour, rice, beans and other staples to families living in the dump. CrossRoads has had the opportunity to provide these essentials, not only to provide for basic needs, but also to share a smile and the love of Christ with these families. Please return donated food to the kiosk in the Ramada on December 21st.
DEC 21: UBS BLOOD DRIVE
UBS supplies 92% of the Phoenix metropolitan blood supply. There will be a blood drive on the CrossRoads campus on Jan. 21, 2009. Donations take about an hour and greatly impact our immediate community by supplying blood to hospitals in our areas. Click here for more information.
As 2009 is upon us, The Mercy Project would like to encourage you to continue your invovlement throughout 2009. These highlighted opportunities are only a glimpse of things that happen year round. Please allow the Holy Spirit to guide you to more mercy opportunities this next year. We have done great things, but we've only just started...

None are too young or too old to volunteer their time or to contribute financially. And no amount of time or financial contribution is too small. We are all called to do something, with whatever time and money we can give, for the relief and comfort of the afflicted.
