EFT Authorization Form
Giving is a vital part of spiritual formation and maturity. It requires two things of us:
Giving is an active expression of my faith. It recognizes God as True Provider. It affirms my confidence in His ability to supply all I need. It is an act of gratitude and dependence. And it allows me to partner with God and His work through my church and in the world. Our God is generous and creative. He calls us to be a reflection of Him in all we do. It is through God’s grace and our obedience that being generous is possible. Giving is one expression of mirroring his generosity.
Giving requires the highest standard of personal integrity and discipline. It is not a casual or occasional thing. In 2 Corinthians 8-9, the Bible teaches we are to give willingly, generously, and cheerfully. And our pattern should reflect a regular and systematic plan. In Malachi 3:10, we learn God’s standard of the tithe or first tenth being set apart in all of my earning as a gift to God. Through our tithes and offerings, we prove faithful in the stewardship of all God has provided for us.
The Bible indicates giving is to be a “first” and not a last or leftover matter in my life. Read Proverbs 3:9-10. It is easy to let our standards and intentions be compromised by the press of expenses and billing cycles.

At each of our weekend services there is an opportunity for people to give. For your convenience, offering envelopes are available for your tithes and offerings. Simply place cash or check in one of the envelopes, write your name and full address on it and put it in the offering plate during any weekend service. Tithe envelopes are available at the information desk with a number that can be assigned to you. If you place cash or change directly in the offering plate, it is considered an anonymous gift and will be put in our general fund. If you are giving by check, please ensure that the information on your check is correct so that we can record your contribution to your giving account.
CrossRoads offers two ways of online giving: debit/credit giving and EFT giving.
Online debit/credit card giving requires you to set up an online giving account. You may set up a one-time or recurring contribution from a credit or debit card. You may also choose to have the contribution withdrawn from your account weekly, biweekly or monthly. You may manage your giving through this online system at any time. We do not encourage use of a credit card to give a financial gift unless you plan to pay off the amount in full when the payment is due. (Proverbs 22:7)
In order to establish your EFT Online giving plan, we need to gather some basic information about you. You will need to fill out, sign and return to the church office an Authorization Agreement for Electronic Transfer. You can drop it by the office or mail it to:
CrossRoads Nazarene Church

All of the information required on the form will be secure. You are able to determine the frequency and amount of your tithes and offerings to the ministry of CrossRoads Nazarene Church. No. The only information available to the church is on the Authorization Agreement for Electronic Transfer form you signed to begin EFT Online. We do not have access to your account balance or any other information about you maintained by your bank.
All gifts are processed either weekly or on the first Monday of the month, depending on how you have designated on your Authorization Agreement for Electronic Transfer.
No problem, simply notify the church office by email or in writing up to three business days before the scheduled transfer date.
The payment will be shown on your monthly account statement from your bank. The statement will indicate the payment date and amount, and the church’s name.
Envelopes are provided in the church office to assist in establishing faithful patterns of giving. If you choose online giving, you may still use your envelope during a service of worship as a testimony and reminder of your faith and faithfulness to God. Simply write “online gift” on the outside of the envelope. This will provide a way for you, if you so desire, to participate during services of worship. The key is not how we give—giving can be done in a variety of ways—but rather, who (How many of us?), what (Am I faithful?), and why (Am I obedient and thankful for all God has done for me?).
