The Deep Zone & Cross Training
A specific discipleship process is in place to help our Elementary children as they grow spiritually in LightQuest Ministries. In order for our kids to become mature believers in Christ, they must understand the truths and promises of God. Kids are encouraged to make real commitments to God and to follow this step with baptism. This discipleship process takes children a step deeper and shows them how God can transform them and help them to become "Spiritual Champions." In-depth spiritual training covering important faith topics are outlined for each age group.
DEEP ZONE CLASSES
1st grade- "We can Talk to God through Prayer"
2nd grade- "The Bible is God's Word"
3rd grade- "Our G.R.E.A.T God" (Attributes of God)
` 4th grade- “Followers of Christ" (This is a pivotal class and the material is taught through CrossTraining)
5th grade- Rock Solid Truth: “How to Study the Bible”
6th grade- Rock Solid Truth: “Foundations of the Faith”
CROSS TRAINING is offered specifically for upper elementary-aged children (4th-6th grade) two times per year (fall & spring). If you wnat to sponsor a child, you can do so by donating $25 and you will get a soccer ball to take home to help you remember to pray for that child each day.

Family Devotion Resources -
Are you looking for ways to have family devotions with your children? Often it is a struggle to find the time and the method to accomplish this. However, It is so important as PARENTS are the PRIMARY spiritual inlfuencers of their chldren. We want to help you!!
Not only do we offer weekly take home papers for you to review what your children learned about at church (see the News page) , but we want to make the following resources avialable to you as well.
Make the most of everyday moments together with "Family Times." These are designed to help equip parents with easy to use tools that are based on the biblical model from Deuteronomy 6:7 which states, "Impress them (the Word) upon your children, talk about them when you sit at home, and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up." This tells us that the home should be the primary place where a child learns about God. Virtue Packs provide activities to be used once a week during meal time, drive, time morining time, and bedtime. All of this is designed to give parents a simple way to help their kids grow in faith and character. They are easy to use, fun, and entertaining. Lots of great discussion will result from these moments together. Come by the Kids Kiosk to check out a packet for home use or call Lisa Rutter or Pastor Dana in the church office.
Topics available include: Obedience, Wisdom, Trust, Uniqueness, Responsibility, Faith, Discipline, Honesty, Individuality, Service
