5th & 6th Grade
This ministry is called ConXted (Connected) as it is specifically designed for 5th & 6th grade students to connect with God, each other, and the world around them. The activities are suited to the preteen age group and their interests.
5th & 6th graders are allowed to check in and out by themselves if their parents or guardians fill out a permission card. Please specify a meeting place to connect with your child.

9:00am Gathering “Grow & Go Zone”
This program promotes community and provides opportunity for discipleship. During this hour the preteens will explore 3 areas and answer the questions: Know What? So What? Now What? With this strategy their committed teachers will share the Bible lesson and then the children will discover why this is important to them and how to apply this truth in their lives.
10:45am Gathering “Worship Zone”
Large group praise and worship, and interactive Bible stories will attract every child to God’s Word. Basic spiritual truths using different methods to reach every child’s style of learning will be emphasized and small group discussion will reinforce the truths presented. The preteen students are divided into small groups where they meet and discuss the application with their small group leaders. This program promotes life-on-life as kids grow spiritually and share with one another.
We plan many special activities throughout the year such as cook outs, winter retreat, and a Christmas service project for the kids to get to know one another and grow together. The Word of God comes alive through the interactive lessons taught.
